Russian truck market has declined by 3% in October 2018

 

Autostat. –Russian truck market has declined 3.4% in October 2018 in comparison with the same period of the previous year. According to Autostat data 7662 new trucks have been sold in Russia in October.

Kamaz has kept the leadership of the Russian truck market, with 30% share in total in October. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 2351 units, which indicates a 0.1% year-on-year fall. The leader is followed by GAZ with 769 vehicles and 18.7% year-on-year growth. The top-three is completed by Volvo with 639 units and 17.5% year-on-year fall. Scania has the fourt place in the rankings with 633 units and 19.4% year-on-year fall. Isuzu has the fifth place with 482 units and 15.9% year-on-year fall.

Kamaz 43118 was the best-selling truck model in October 2018 with 602 units and 17.8% year-on-year fall, followed by Gazon Next with 559 units and 18.3% year-on-year growth. The top-three is completed by Kamaz 5490 with 535 units, which indicates a 27.3% year-on-year rise.

64,690 new trucks have been sold in Russia within the first ten months of 2018, which indicates 5.9% year-on-year growth.
