RusAutoNewsCom.- According to Autostat data, by the end of 2019, 6.3 thousand electric cars are registered in Russia.
Nissan Leaf is the leader of the electric car park in the country with 5.2 thousand vehicles. Tesla occupies the second spot with 410 vehicles, among them 233 units Model S, 155 units Model X and 22 units Model 3.
The pair is followed by Mitsubishi i-MiEV with 328 vehicles and Jaguar I-Pace with 139 units. The remaining models of the electric car park are: Lada Ellada - 96 units, Renault Twizy - 38 units, BMW i3 - 37 units, Hyundai Ioniq - 3 units and Peugeot Ion - 3 units.
837 units electric cars are registered in Primorskiy Kray. Irkutsk Region is at the second spot with 657 units, followed by Moscow with 594 cars.
