RusAutoNews.- The Russian LCV market has amounted to 141,876 units in 2021, indicating a 35.9% year-on-year growth, according to Autostat data.
The traditional leader of the market GAZ has kept its position, with 45% market share in total. GAZ has sold 63,528 vehicles, which indicates a 42.8% year-on-year rise.
Ford occupies the second place, reaching a sales figure of 20,200 units (+44.6% year-on-year). Top-three is completed by UAZ with 17,067 units (+17.4%). Lada LCV with 14,901 units (+18.2%) and Peugeot with 6,572 units (+90.7%) came fourth and fifth respectively.
Gazelle Next was the best-selling LCV model in 2021 with 34,295 units, followed by Ford Transit with 20,190 units and GAZ-3302 with 14,569 units.
